A quick alteration in the queue, in support of #Dreadtober, the Nurgle Plague hulk will be put aside for more of a classic dreadnought.
Here is a progress shots of my contemptor dreadnought which is being re-purposed from an Adeptus Custodes version. The gold one was old and not uniform with the rest of my forces. They should look like twins in the cabinet right?!
A bath in simple green and a new base coat and it's ready to go. The simple green seemed to dissolve all of the superglue holding the magnets in but that was an easy fix. The base coating, shading and damage parts are now done. More time will be needed for details and metal work.

I must ask where, do those awesome looking shoulders come from?
ReplyDeleteThanks. I have to admit I'll be looking to use these myself
ReplyDeleteNo problem. They fit really easily and took magnets pretty well. The joint could have been a bit more solid (not much material left to grab the magnet) but they work.
DeleteI also have a fist (I think I have a picture on the contemptor version) but don't like it. The mechanism looks really good for holding guns but doesn't look at all like it could articulate with a claw. I'd shy away from the CCW versions of these.
I have never seen those shoulders before. This is amazing!
