Reaver Titan 4

Lots of clean up work and then I did some dry fitting to see how I wanted the legs to stand.  I pinned these once I was happy by drilling a hole through the two parts, cutting a 1/8" metal rod to fit and affixing with a two-part epoxy.  I think the resin would break before the joint did so I'm quite happy with the strength.  The model is going to be very heavy so I don't want anything to be weak.  You can see a hole in the knee where the rod goes but this will be covered with the knee armour plating later.

  1. You know you are working at a big scale when it takes a 1/8 metal rod to pin something!

    1. Lol very true. Pulling out a large hack saw also is convincing.

  2. I'm fascinated by titans without armor plating. Keep up the good work.
