I'm pretty mad right now as our dog escaped from her crate and destroyed the blight drone I was working on. It's now about a million pieces of resin and wire. I'll attempt to glue everything back together and cover up the glue with more rust. Very upset...

Doh! I was just admiring the pics of it from earlier but hadn't commented yet. On the up side, the extra teeth marks and drool may be less noticeable on a nurgle-y model, perhaps? :)
ReplyDeleteStill, that's a bummer man. Hopefully the dog didn't swallow any important bits!
Could have been worse I suppose. Guess my lists will only have 1 blight drone instead of two for a while :).
DeleteOoh, you poor fella! I hope you can salvage it!
ReplyDeleteI managed to glue everything back together mostly. I lost a lot of tubing and such and the model is super brittle now. Once I get back to painting it I'm pretty sure it will just be put into a cabinet and not played lest I break it during the movement phase.
DeleteWow. That is pretty brutal. I guess this blight drone will have some extreme weathering!
ReplyDeleteThe armour isn't a big deal since that can be rusted up. It's the skin that kind of sucks. I can't really do touchups since it was airbrushed and washed so they'll need to turn into cuts and gouges but I'm worried it will just muddy the whole thing and make it look like a blob of paint moreso than it did lo.
DeleteYou keep your dog in a crate?
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty common to crate train dogs these days especially when they're young. You let them out when you're home.
