Wooden Clocks and Crokinole

I decided to make some clocks. The first one is a 'weather station' with some dials for temp, humidity and pressure. Not overly useful but I think they look cool. It's a couple pieces of walnut glued up and it's thin, about 1/8" with a chamfer edge. The inserts are walnut.

The second clock, is maple and thick. I drilled out the back and added magnets so it would slide on top of my crokinole board. The hour marks are made of purple heart on this one to match the board.

Here you can see how the slivers are inserted (straight forward). The circle is cut on a jig on a bandsaw and the hours were marked with a quick tutorial and a protractor I saw on youtube then cut on the table saw.
