The allies need someone to fight, and I wanted to use the 'fanciest' painting on the more elite OKW faction. I followed the flames of war paint scheme which I think looks a bit yellow but maybe that's accurate; who knows?! I air brushed the three colours on, using reflective green (that was a waste of money, it looks identical to the other greens I had) and I used some old citadel brown paint for the dunkelbrun (the giant pot of paint I had from the realm of battle board). It thinned enough for the airbrush. These are my favourite scheme for sure.For the captured panthers, I went a slight bit further and added the ambush pattern tot hem (the dappled dots). Too lazy to add to the rest and I don't really like how it looks; it's a bit too sloppy. For all the decals used on this game, I went with Skytrex and followed a new method of first applying clear coat to the area for the decal, soaking them in vinegar (not water) and applying that way. Then when dry, dry brushing/stipping the base coat over top of the decal and edges of the clear coat to blend it in. Really hides the sticker aspect.
