Here's my finished Tyrant for the People of the Stars Campaign! He promises to be a very unique fight compared to the other nemesis encounters. It's also a nice change to not have the butcher and king's henchmen breathing down your settlement's neck.
This base gives the model quite a bit of height which looks imposing on the table since he walks down from his throne to judge your weak survivors.
I put a ring on his one fighter too. A small detail I saw somewhere on another model or maybe his concept art. I can't remember but I felt like Bob Ross painting it :)

Awesome work!!! Great skin tones. Love the robe colors and details.
ReplyDeleteThanks man. It's hard deciding what colours to choose all of the time! I often think how will I paint the survivors that accompany the boss fight. It helps.
DeleteThis is really interesting. Is the game good?
ReplyDeleteAs someone heavily invested both in time and money, I'm biased. I think it's great. It's a heavy game though with charts. It's like an rpg that doesn't need a dungeon master. We play a couple times a month for six or so hours and have for a year.
DeleteStunning work, man - I love how that turned out!
ReplyDeleteO wow - that is fantastic. The reds have such depth to them.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I wanted him to be dark and scary so I really toned the red down.
