Started on this elephant baby. There were some gaps across a lot of the seams so I had to green stuff a bunch. Also I plan to mount him on a few skulls so his front feet didn't sit right. I ended up having to sculpt a bit of an ankle. Wasn't too hard since it's just fat folds :)
I had fun putting one of these together. Imagine it to be a pig to paint with all those large areas of skin.
ReplyDeleteThere's not much detail on it (aside from the elephant lines). I've not really seen many well painted ones. It's large and as you said flat so I think they all end up looking pretty boring for us mediocre painters.
