Fellblade Project Part 4 - Completion!

The Emerald Fists Fellblade is now complete!  Behold it in all of its glory!  I love this model and I'm so proud to have it finished.  I'm happy how every part of it came out.  I'm sure that will make it roll true as well.  This side shot shows off perfectly the overall colour scheme and balance of green and white I was going for.  I didn't scrimp on the photos either so enjoy.

This will scare a few xenos I'm sure!
The gunner and commander up top really give the tank a sense of scale.  It's huge (well the same as a baneblade but that's huge!)

The rhino doors give it more identity as a vehicle of the Emerald Fists.  Those quad lascannons also draw some attention...

Since the tracks were quite plane, I added GW textured paint to them.  I stippled it on all around the tracks so that it would break them up and make it look more used.  I air brushed bestial brown and snake bite leather on top followed by a gryphonne sepia wash.  If you look closely you can also see the Fist iconography on the tracks (every 7th link).  Oddly those don't have mud on them...

The engines I wanted to draw attention to as well so I painted the insides white and washed them with a blue and did a bit of touch up.  With proper shadows it's a bit darker/more intense.  Again you can see the mud/icons.
